Syllabus and Test Pattern to Join Navy Short Service Commission
The following subjects will be examined in the first entrance exam:
- Intelligence test
- Academic Test
Those who pass the Entrance Exam will be referred to a preliminary medical examination and an interview.
Those applying in the Operations branch must pass a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Selection Process of Navy Short Course
- The initial test will be conducted on a computer at one of the designated test centers.
- The preliminary exam results will be announced on joinpaknavy.gov.pk.
- Candidates who have been shortlisted will be invited to ISSB for a test/interview.
- ISSB/ Personality Recommendation Candidates will be medically examined at the nearest Naval/ CMH Hospital.
- Candidates who pass the medical exam will be put through a personality test (Only for Medical Candidates)
- PN Selection Board Interview
- The final decision will be made on the basis of merit and quota.
