Cadet College Jaffarabad Prospectus
The Cadet College Jaffarabad (CCJFBD) is one of the three cadet colleges that were founded in Pakistan during the era of Gen Parwaiz Musharaf. The college provide quality education and strive to instill character building qualities in our incoming generation so they are prepared to be capable citizens and dynamic leaders in the future.
The Jaffarabad Cadet College is located on the road Dera Alla Yar – Usta Mohammad, which straddles the border of Sindh and Balochistan. The distance between Dera Alla Yar and Usta Mohammad is 27 kilometers. It takes 5.5 hours to travel from Quetta to Jacobbabad (320 km) and 40 minutes to travel from Jacobbabad to Quetta.
Written exam qualified candidates will be required to attend an interview. Accordingly, SMS messages are sent to eligible candidates with notification of the date and location.
The college requires selected candidates to undergo medical examinations before matriculating. Applicants who meet the necessary medical requirements are considered for admission.

Eligibility
- The examination will be open to candidates from all over the country whose main subjects are English, Mathematics, Science and Urdu. Every year, a testing board conducts the test.
- Candidate Should be between 11 and 13 years old on 31 March of the year of entry.
- Students must have completed their 6th grade from a registered school by the 1st March of the year of entry. Students who are currently enrolled in Class 6 may also apply. Hope certificate is required.
- Candidates will be chosen by an entrance examination.
- Medically fit candidates will be considered.
- Written test and interview results will determine a candidate’s final selection.

- English cum General Awareness
- Urdu cum Islamiyat
Annually, it take place in November. There is only one mandatory subject for the Urdu-Islamiyat Paper: Urdu-Islamiyat. Candidates from non-Muslim backgrounds have the option of leaving out the Islamiat section. This section can be attempted in either English or Arabic.
There is a competitive entrance examination for the College. There is no prescribed syllabus and any question considered appropriate can be included in any Paper.
