SSG (N) & Surface Operations Branch-Marines

Only male Pakistani citizens with an age limit of 26 years until July 1, 2024, and a height of 5′ feet 4′′ Inches are eligible to apply for the marine branch of Navy. The eligibility requirements for this branch include graduation with at least 60% marks from an HEC recognized university and FS.c / A-Level/ equivalent with Physics & Maths.

On completion of training, candidates will be promoted to the rank of Ag Sub Lieutenant.

IT Special Branch

To enroll in the Special Branch- IT Specialist Males must be 28 years (extendable to 31 years for experienced candidates) old by July 1, 2024, and should be 5′ Feet 4′′ Inches. The eligibility criteria for Navy IT jobs include a BIT/BSE/BE/BCS/ MIT/MCS in Computer Engineering with 60% marks and a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0 from an HEC recognized university.

Medical Branch-Specialist

Male and female nationals of Pakistan are eligible to apply for Navy medical jobs with a maximum age of 40 years until July 1, 2024, and should be 5 feet and 4 inches for males and 5 feet and 4 inches for females.

MBBS qualification with FRCA/FRCS/FCPS/MCPS/MD/MS from American Board or equivalent in Special Disciplines from Pakistan and Foreign Medical College which must be recognized by PMDC is the Navy medical requirements.

Supply Branch

Male citizens of Pakistan with a minimum age of 26 years until July 1, 2024, and a height of 5 feet 4 inches are welcome to apply for supply branch in Pak Navy. Eligibility criteria for Navy supply corps include MBA/BBA (Hons)/M.Com or MSc Economics with at least 60% marks / 2.5 CGPA or even above from HEC recognized universities are required to apply.

Marine Engineering Branch

Citizens with a maximum age of 27 years and a height of 5 feet 4 inches and a BE Mechanical degree with a minimum of 70% marks or a 2.5 CGPA from an HEC accredited university are eligible to apply for marine engineering in Pakistan Navy.

Weapon Engineering Branch

Only male Pakistani citizens between the ages of 18 and 27, with a height of 5 feet and 4 inches and a BE Electrical degree with a minimum 60% mark / CGPA of 2.5 or above from an HEC approved university are eligible to apply for weapon engineering in Pakistan Navy.

On completion of training, candidates will be promoted to the rank of Ag Sub Lieutenant.

Only Pakistani male nationals with an age limit of 28 years till July 1, 2024, and a height of 5 feet 4 inches are eligible to apply for Navy education branch. Eligibility criteria for this branch include MA/MS.c/MCS/BS (04 years program) with 1st Division/B-Grade and B.

Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Islamic Studies, Pak Studies, English and Library Science are preferred subjects for Ed. On completion of training, candidates will be promoted to the rank of Ag Lieutenant.

Medical Branch – GDMOS

Male and female Pakistani residents aged 28 years and up to July 1, 2024, with a height of 5 feet 4 inches and an MBBS/BDS qualification are eligible to apply for Navy medical jobs.

How to Apply for a Job in Pakistan Navy

These are the criteria to apply for a job in Pakistan Navy:

  • From 28 May – 11 June 2023, interested applicants can register on the website.
  • Direct applications to the Naval Headquarters’ Recruitment Director will be rejected.
  • The deadline to register is June 11, 2023.
  • After the COVID-19 Pandemic situation improves, the admission exam date will be sent via SMS by the appropriate PNR and SC.
  • The admission exam results are available on the Navy’s official website.
  • Following the Entrance Test, a Preliminary Test will be conducted, and applications will be issued to those who pass the Entrance Test and also pass a number of tests, including the Preliminary/Medical Interview, which will be held on respective PNR & SC, and these tests will contribute to final selection by Naval Headquarters.

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a preliminary medical and interview after passing the prior screening procedure. The medical examination will take place at the closest CMH/ PNS Shifa, and the PN Selection Board will conduct the interview. After this procedure is finished, Naval Headquarters will make the ultimate selection of candidates based solely on merit.

Ineligibility

The following are not eligible:

  • Rejected by the ISSB, GHQ, NHQ, and AHQ selection boards:
    • Two times after postgraduation.
    • Two times before and one time after graduation.
    • The first time before and the second time after post graduation.
    • Furthermore, those who achieve even higher qualifications, such as a Ph.D and FRCS/equivalent, have an additional chance. This opportunity is only available when Ph.D. and FRCS candidates are needed.
  • Third chances for ISSB do not apply to Operations Branch, since it is a graduate course.
  • Twice screened out at ISSB.
  • Tested within 4 months (120 days), a period of 12 months since the previous ISSB appearance. (For candidates not recommended).
  • Tested within ISSB, GHQ, NHQ, and selection boards’ validity period of one year (for applicants recommended by ISSB).
  • Resigned / Dismissed / Removed from Government Service.
  • Convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude by a court of law.
  • Declared physically unfit by appeal medical board.
  • Medically unfit for work because of Hepatitis B&C (AMB cannot be requested).
  • Deemed unfit by any Armed Forces hospital except for those cleared by an appeals medical board.
  • Withdrawn from any bonded college/institutions of the Armed Forces for disciplinary reasons.
  • Withdrawn, resigned, or was dismissed from a military academy or training institute any reason.
  • Married to a Foreign National.
  • Submitted forged documents.
  • Submitted false information.
  • Females in family way.
  • Candidates with dual nationality must surrender their dual citizenship before commissioning / passing out or within six months after joining PN, whichever comes first.

Note: Women who are married must sign an undertaking that they will not be in a family way during training and while they are joining.
