Cadet College Skardu admissions are now open for 8th and 11th classes. Cadet College Skardu (CCS) is a government-sanctioned cadet college in Gilgit Baltistan, unique to its kind in Pakistan.

Applicants are required to carefully read the admission instructions in the prospectus. Applicants must submit a completed application form at the time of application.

Cadet College Skardu

Gilgit Baltistan College was established in 2001. It is the first institution to be established in Gilgit Baltistan. The federal government funds and operates the college, which is managed by the Ministry of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Affairs.

This college has its main campus situated in Hotto town, right next to the Skardu airport, in the middle of Skardu valley. The college is fully engaged in education for both secondary and higher secondary levels in science and for pre-engineering in the areas of physics and premedical. Cadet College Skardu is a prominent Cadet College in Pakistan and a unique institution in Gilgit Baltistan. The institution has experienced rapid growth in the short time since its opening. Gilgit Baltistan would not have been able to improve its educational facilities without the participation of the Government and the Army.

Gilgit Baltistan desperately needed an institution that could provide quality education and develop individuals to integrate them with the rest of the country. The government of Skardu approved the project for Cadet College Skardu in 1992.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed the 7th grade at any recognized school

Age Limit: 12-14 years on April 1, 2022. Candidates must be physically and medically fit.

CCS conducts an entry test for students in the seventh grade as well. These students will need to submit hope certificates issued by their current educational institution’s principal or head.

Admission Entry Test

The candidate who wants to get admission to any class at Cadet College Skardu must take an admission entry test. Candidate College Skardu will conduct the entry test on 05 March. 2022 at Lahore, Gilgit, Skardu, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi and Sialkot.

It will be supervised by the Pakistan Army. The successful candidates will have to go through an interview. The interview date will be announced after the entry test results are announced.

How to Get Prospectus & Past Papers?

You can get the prospectus and past papers from the designated shops. This page contains an advertisement in Urdu listing these shops. A set of prospectuses and past papers costs 1000 rupees.
The prospectus and past papers may be purchased by mail by sending a bank draft of 1100 rupees payable at HBL Gamba branch Skardu in the name of the Principal Cadet College.
Candidates are required to submit duly filled out applications along with three photographs, a copy of their proof of residence and a bank draft for Rs. 1000 as a registration fee drawn in the name of the Principal Cadet College Skardu. Payment should be made to Habib Bank Limited Gamba branch. Admission forms must be received by February 20, 2022.
Admission forms may also be downloaded from the official website of CCS. Completed forms should be sent in with the bank draft of 2000 rupees in the name of Principal CCS and cashable at HBL Gamba branch in Skardu. Your admission form should be accompanied by a copy of your domicile and three recent colored passport size photographs.
